Framed Pieces

I finally received the last of my stitching from my LNS (I dropped it off in June). This one will be perfect for the Fall Season...

Someone had asked to see my 'Christmas House'. I pulled it out for the show last weekend and thought I would snap a picture before putting back in storage ('til Christmas).

I have a little housecleaning, a 200-word response to a discussion question for school, and a big pot of chili to make before I can settle in with my cross stitch.

Enjoy your weekend!

Yeah!! Framed pieces!! Even though you dropped them off in June (ugh) it was worth the wait. They look incredible!! Any idea on where you are going to hang them? I love the Moonlight Garden, I have it kitted up and ready to go, (it isnt going anywhere!) The work on your Christmas house is incredible! Love the depth the piece has!!

Good morning, Cari! What lovely framed pieces.

I love the BBD design. A friend of mine has stitched that one and I know the colours are even more gorgeous IRL!

The Christmas House is awesome. I love the window panes! I've never done special stitching like these and admire your efforts!

Happy weekend!

Cari - Love, love your framed pieces. Moonlit Garden is perfect for this time of year and I love the frame that you used. The Christmas House is one of my favorites - it's the pattern that I have and never did. It's so beautiful!! I'm still on the search for others - I'm not as organized as I thought and just threw all the patterns I didn't want into a large bin - I'm still sorting so bear with me.

Hi, Cari--in answer to your question about the china, it's a Spode pattern called Winter's Eve. It's sort of Christmasy, and I bought a few plates from TJMaxx a few years ago when they had them. My dishwasher was full, so I had gotten down to the bottom of the stack! They have them on replacements.com (I love that site), but I haven't added to them because there are just 2 of us, although I debated it.

I am so glad you got your fall piece back from the framers just in the nick of time. That seems like such a loooong time to get something framed. Anyways, it turned out beautiful as always and your Christmas stitchery has so much white work!!! Beautiful!!!
