*Sigh*

I confess to be out of words as I just completed my 8-page mid-term - my brain and fingers are exhausted. My other assignments this week were 9 discussion boards, two mid-term exams, a paper on Iago (Othello) and well, I am grateful this week is over! Only four more weeks to go in this sub-term. The Olympics have been great background noise as I type away. Go USA Go!

I am so sad at the state of my blogging these days, but there has not been time to stitch and thus, nothing to show. I have been visiting your blogs but not much commenting from me and I am sorry for that. I also owe quite a few people (Deb and Melissa and Elke) reply emails. I am most grateful for all of you who are still checking in and for leaving comments - you all are the BEST!

Ha, I just remembered I do have something to show - I borrowed the picture from Deb - a FINISH. This is my sweet little La D Da piece that Deb so wonderfully finished and stuffed with crushed walnuts. I can't wait for this to arrive in the mail - she does amazing work. Speaking of which, Lois your ornament is gorgeous!

Well, as PP would say, 'That's All Folks'!

Happy Stitching,

Cari

I saw your Bird in Hand on Deb's album yesterday and it's just gorgeous, and Deb did a lovely job on the finishing.

I wondered if that was your Bird in Hand pillow, Cari! I love it. I have to stitch mine and then will send to Deb--I love the crushed walnut thing. ;)

Hang in there, your stitching time will return... and your friends will remain checking in, whether you just want to talk stitching or have pics to share. xo

Oh my gosh, all that work! I am exhausted just hearing about it. My poor little brain would be taxed.
Your Bird in the Hand finish is fabulous! This is such a sweet pattern and I love how Deb finished it.

We've missed you so please check in when you can!

(((hugs))) and continued good wishes for the next 4 weeks!

Love your La-D-Da piece. Deb is amazing with her finishing skills. I've just sent some things off to her myself.
Hope all your school assignments go well and you get a few minutes of stitching time now and again.

Gosh Cari - I can't imagine all that work. And in one week! I think that I would be absolutely exhausted. Thinking of it takes me back to my college days - kind of makes me shiver! LOL

I just love your pillow. I hope that she gets it to you soon. That would definitely be a pick-me-up!

Saw that you did manage to send out an email so I'll answer it in a little bit. I hope that you can get a little bit of stitching time in!!

The Bird in Hand looks just wonderful. I hope it arrives at your house soon! I will have to consider asking her to do a finish for me in the future!

Good luck with all your school work and work! Talk to you soon.

Your Bird in the Hand is gorgeous! Well, that just makes me want to pull the pattern and start stitching it!! You have been busy with school and sometimes stitching has to take a bit of a backseat. Sounds like you've had alot on your plate with papers to do!

Congrats on finishing mid-terms! I know what a good feeling it can be! This term will be over before you know it and then you can focus on stitching!

Thanks for visiting me and your kind comments. I just love your Bird in Hand - a very sweet pattern and one that I intend to get onto next to answer my craving to stitch something 'blue". I've not heard of the crushed walnuts before ??
Good luck with all your study - that is one heck of a work load, so glad you were able to chill out on Valentines Day.
